My wife and I watched Neil Simon's "The Goodbye Girl" last night. It's pretty much like any other movie from the '70s that takes place in New York City, but Richard Dreyfuss (who earned an Oscar for the role) and Marsha Mason were both great, so there's that. And then in the final credits, they whip this song out--sung by David Gates of the group Bread. Because there's really no music video for this song, here's a version that someone posted on YouTube with clips from the movie, so enjoy:
